Good Things Can Still Happen

The world is definitely different than it was just over a year ago. Our new normal is something I never imagined. Wearing masks and social distancing seem like they might never go away, but I hope we don’t let them give us an excuse to be unfriendly.

Just this week, I’ve watched as people I know have gone out of their way to help others know they aren’t forgotten. Whether it was helping care for an old friend when they needed it, or small acts of kindness by members of my family for their siblings, good things still happen.

Speaking of good things, I’m still writing another book. I’m over 30,000 words, eleven chapters, so far. It is going to be a fantasy book, and I plan to have it finished, edited, and ready by June.

My next book Resonance is on Amazon as a preorder for Kindle. It will be available March 5. The paperback version will be available around that same time. This is my time travel book where only certain people can feel the changes in the timestream, called resonance. The resonance makes these people sick or sticks them with double memories of the same event. The control over time travel has been handled by a supercomputer, called the Machina. But the Machina was built to predict and prepare for natural disasters and time travel was an unintended consequence of its transdimensional design. Wyatt, and others who feel the resonance like him, are tasked with stopping the spread of time travel. It’s spread could ruin the world.

If you’re looking for a good science fiction story, check out my books The Promise of Dust or Progenitor’s Legacy: Deceit. The Promise of Dust will be free on Kindle from Sunday, February 21 through Thursday, February 25. It takes place in the floating habitats built in the upper layers of Venus’s atmosphere and their interactions with Mars. Progenitor’s Legacy: Deceit takes place farther into the future, after humanity has begun to search the galaxy for the Progenitors, an alien race whose technology has helped humanity reach the stars. If you’re looking for a young adult science fiction, check out my series This New Earth, that starts with Demons of a Dead World and Secrets of a Dead World. In this series, twin siblings, with a unique ability come to terms with the alien presence on a dying world. If you are looking for a young adult fantasy, check out my book The Threads Unbound. On a small world, humanity is the enemy. Once powerful wielders of the threads and the magic they produce, they have been exiled to a few cities magically ripped from the world. The power was locked away, but Nathan can work the threads.
